RSAI members gather annually by region for RSAI Regional Meetings, typically held in April or May. These meetings provide an important opportunity for members to connect, share information, and engage in the organization's legislative and leadership processes.

Regional Meeting agendas include:

• A recap of the most recent Iowa legislative session.
• Discussion of legislative priority issues for the upcoming session.
• Election of the region’s representative to the RSAI Leadership Group.
• Election of regional representative(s) to the RSAI Legislative Committee.
• Updates on RSAI’s history, initiatives, and ongoing advocacy efforts.

Regional Meetings are open to Affiliate Members, school district superintendents, school business officials, board members, and individuals on the leadership track (regardless of the RSAI membership status or the district’s AEA partner).

Voting is limited to one vote per RSAI member. Other attendees may participate by invitation.

There is no cost to attend RSAI Regional Meetings.
